GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS!
Altho the weather has been somewhat milder than it has been
, it still is a bit on the warm side. And, I
happen to be one who wants to save a dime when he can.
Its a necessity that us poor SSI recipients have learned,
and a fact the government has not. Anyways, I digress from
the story. Rather than turn on the a/c and drive up my
electric bill even higher than it will be next month,
(they probably will deliver it in a two ton dump truck,as it
is already)I took an extra shower, and without getting too
graphic for you good folks, proceeded to slap on the bvd's
and sit down in front of the fan to both cool off and dry
off. The process was pretty effective because after consuming
a goodly sized glass of icewater to rehydrate, I was
feeling comfy and etc. To add a little more comfort, I put
in one of my favorite cds by Confederate railroad. And I'm
singin along at the top of my lungs when the war department
happened to come marching thru the door, home from work.
Standing in the doorway of my office, her eyes taking in
the whole view, I knew she was about to deliver one of
those revelations for which she is well known,
"Honey," she said "there are lots of different kinds of people.
There are people they pay in this world to take their clothes
off. And there are people they pay to sing. And you know what?
You ain't neither one of these." With that she shut the door
to the office with an admonishment to put some pants on and
"turn that damn thing down". Well, I hafta admit, it WAS loud
enough to rattle the windows, on the NEIGHBORS' HOUSE next door.
Fellas?
Doncha hate it when you gotta admit that your wife is right?

Jill's car was unreliable and she called John
for a ride every time it broke down. One day
John got yet another one of those calls.
"What happened this time?" he asked.
"My brakes went out," Jill said. "Can you come to get me?"
"Where are you?" John asked.
"I'm in the drugstore," Jill responded.
"And where's the car?" John asked.
Jill replied, "It's in here with me."

Pinocchio, Snow White, and Superman are out for
a stroll in town one Day. As they walk,
they come across a sign:
"Beauty contest for the most beautiful woman in the world."
"I am entering!" said Snow White.
After half an hour she comes out and they ask her,
"Well, how'd ya do?" "
First Place !," said Snow White.
They continue walking and they see a sign:
"Contest for the strongest man in the world."
"I'm entering," says Superman.
After half an hour, he returns and they ask him,
"How did you make out?"
First Place ," answers Superman.
"Did you ever doubt?"
They continue walking when they see a sign:
"Contest! Who is the greatest liar ! in the world?"
Pinocchio enters. After half an hour he
returns with tears in his eyes.
"What happened?" they asked.
"Who the heck is Obama?" asked Pinocchio.

Its so hot that...
You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.
The temperature drops below 95 F (35 C) and you feel a little chilly.
You discover that it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.
You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 a.m.
Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out
and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"
