Funzines - Clean Cartoons for August 15, 2011

Did you catch that story about the Bonnie and Clydes?
I wish the story focused more on their family life.
I mean, how were they raised?  How disfunctional could that family be?
What do you think went wrong?
********
Heard on the news that 1.2 million jobs were created this week.
Did you get one?

A member wants to know if you ever found your true love where
you work(ed).  How did that work out for you?
*
D relies:
Met my true love at work and we were married 26 years and he died.
R replies:
I met my hubs (32 years now) sort of at work. I was taking my physical for the National Guard when I got to the blood drawing part. This big red guy in a white suit was doing them. He read my papers and asked if I was related to so an so, and I said yes that was my brother. (We have a very distinctive family name, needless to say!) He said "I know him because I work with him." We talked for awhile but I was nervous about all the tests so I wasn't paying a lot of attention. Two weeks later he got up the nerve to ask me out on a date and five months later we got married.

B replies:
I did find my true love in a 5 and 10 cent store when I was just 17, we were married for 53 years. I just lost him in November but he will always be my one true love
*
J replies:
Met my wife at work and still work together. Have lived together since 1999 and been married since 2004.
