This summer, Josh Groban performed his very first virtual concert, an intimate night of songs and stories that streamed live to audiences around the world.

And since one global hit concert just isn't enough for the honey-voiced overachiever, Groban just announced a trio of live virtual shows for 2020, including a night of Broadway faves, a show celebrating his new album Harmony and his first-ever holiday concert.

Because he's committed to inspiring and entertaining us throughout the year, we decided to turn the tables and ask the "You Raise Me Up" singer to share a few things that have inspired and entertained him these past few months during lockdown. Here's what he told us:

Making music:
"Writing and recording music has really helped me cope during this time. The making of my new album Harmony, and the reason for the title, was so therapeutic for me. I wanted to go back to basics a bit, to interpret songs that made me feel good, were a blast to sing, and most importantly, that my fans have been asking for over the course of the last couple years of touring. Creating at home has been particularly interesting due to how much its forced me to be self-reliant in recording, writing, producing ... If I want to hear what's in my head I can't drive over to a co-writer's or producer's house and say, 'Here's a thing I plunked out on my iPhone, can you help me make it come to life?' I've had to sit at my laptop and craft it, which has been hugely rewarding. It's opened up a floodgate of ideas and songs that I never knew were in me."
