The wisdom of the heart

Hi Friends-

I've been in a little cave of creation since last we spoke, and lots of exciting things are percolating.

Because I've been hiding out, I've not been reading the news — or anything else — for about 10 days now. And I have to tell you it's been quite liberating!

So this week's email contains no links to other folks' content. It's exclusively populated with new offerings that I've been brewing up for you. : )

My new course, Hi-Fi, will be launching soon. Prior to all this Covid-19 madness, I had been envisioning a new course about becoming more embodied and tapping into our creative intuition. Like everyone, I hit pause as the pandemic started unfolding. But it quickly became apparent to me that the material I was thinking about sharing was becoming more — not less — relevant in the midst of this challenging global situation. So I decided to accelerate the creation of the course.

Today, I'm excited to introduce you to Hi-Fi, a new course about tuning into the wisdom of the heart. Hi-Fi is a 12-week program that invites you to reconnect with your body, open your heart, and bring your intuition online. My goal with Hi-Fi is to bring together a vibrant community of open-hearted people who are dedicated to deepening their connection to themselves and their creative intuition.

We are all deeply craving support and connection right now. As different from my previous course RESET, which was slightly more self-directed, Hi-Fi is all about coming together and learning in community. I will be complementing the coursework with a steady stream of opportunities to gather around Q&As, in ally groups, for energy meditations, and more. Details and a full overview are available here.

I'm hoping to open registration in the next few weeks, with the course to begin in about a month.

I'll be hosting another guided energy healing on April 30th. Over 250 folks joined for my first-ever group energy healing on Crowdcast this past week, which was a remarkable turnout. Practicing reiki online was a new experiment for me and we ran into a few tech snafus, but all who attended were extremely good-natured and patient. Afterwards, the feedback I got from folks was incredible. In spite of the glitches, people seemed to find the session deeply relaxing and restorative.

So: I'm going to offer another guided 60-minute energy healing next Thursday 4/30 at 5pm EDT. This time with all the tech kinks worked out! If it goes well, I'll probably start doing these sessions on the regular since folks are finding it supportive.

For those of you who missed the original description of what this event is:

Reiki is a form of energy healing that typically involves physical touch, but can also be performed at a (social) distance. In this case, through a live 60-minute event that I'll be hosting on Crowdcast.

During the event, I'll be using my words to "touch" and work with your energy as I guide you through a 60-minute healing session. I'll talk you through the breath, different visualizations, and physical sensations in order to bring you back into open-hearted presence and rebalance your energy system.

A new Hurry Slowly episode on navigating uncertainty. For the latest episode of the podcast, I spoke with therapist and meditator Mark Epstein. We talked about how this pandemic moment is asking us to truly reckon with the idea of uncertainty — challenging our neat narratives of the future and our notions about who we're supposed to be.
