GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS!
Yesterday, the war department did what she always does
when she is frustrated: she started cleaning the house top to
bottom. Flustered with the corona thing, she was unable to
find such common things as laundry detergent as shortages
spread around the U.S. I said, "Hon don't worry you gotta
look at the bright side!"
"What bright side is there when everything is shut down and
we can't go anywhere and stuff is all closed?"
"Well, look at it this way hon, we can't go anywhere, so it
won't matter if our clothes are clean cuz we can't
wash em. Nobody will see us anyways if we stay home!!!!"
She failed to appreciate the humor in that statement...
however my son thought it was hilarious :)
Big stores like Walmart have been out of T.P. and such things
for days. I've managed to keep us supplied by ordering stuff
from Amazon. But it is getting scarce there.. Maybe we should
do like the old farmers did when they went to the out house and
the Sears Roebuck catalog was used up. Take 3 corn cobs.
2 red ones and 1 white (The white one is for making sure the job is
finished properly.)
