What a week.
I hope you're safe and hanging in there as we navigate these strange and scary times together.
Any moment in which you can find a reason to smile is precious these days, so I just started something I hope can give you a few of those moments.
About a decade ago I had a blog called One Thing To See on which I shared a single video each day designed to make people feel better about the world.
Now seems like the perfect time to resurrect it and I'm doing so on my Twitter account.
I'm having fun re-watching them for the first time in years and I'm pretty sure you'll dig them as well.
Now, on to this week's ideas...

"There will be moments in your day when you do the same things you did before the world turned upside down. Let them remind you not everything has changed."

3. How To Build A Career That Combines Your Interests
"Don't discard that keeping each one of these things that you have the gift to love in the mix creates a conversation among them that becomes your reliable source of inspiration."
One of the reasons people struggle to develop a career they love is because they think to do so they must focus on one of their interests and abandon the rest.
He also shares what happened when he committed to invest some time each week into each of his core passions - they eventually converged into a unique and rewarding career.

4. How To Create More Unique Instagram Stories
"Instagram stories is one of the best ways to build your brand. But how do you use Instagram stories to create visually attractive content without using clunky tools and having to leave the app?"

5. How Creations Go Viral
"Nothing naturally goes viral. Nothing is the measles. Distribution and marketing helps determine why what becomes popular does become popular."
Don't worry, this has nothing to do with coronavirus.
In a 13-minute video Derek Thompson, author of the excellent book Hit Makers, breaks down how creations go viral and debunks the two most common myths about what makes things popular: It has nothing to do with them being "new" and requires a lot more than just making something good.
