The mother of a large family was explaining why she
dresses her children alike, right down to the youngest baby.
"When we had just four children, I dressed them alike
so we wouldn't lose any of them."
"Now," she added, looking around at her brood of nine,
"I dress them alike so we won't pick up any that don't belong to us."

A small monastery outside of Glasgow Scotland was having financial
difficulties. They needed to repair the roof of their monastery
but did not have the money to do so. They did have a beautiful
flower garden however, and so they decided to sell flowers to raise
money. The local florist was not too happy with this arrangement
but realized that it was for charity and as soon as the roof was
fixed the monks would stop selling their flowers.
Once the roof had been repaired however, the monks continued to sell
their flowers despite request by the florist that they stop. So the florist
went to the local mob who promised to take care of the problem. They sent
their enforcer, a man by the name of Hugh Macdonald to talk to the monks.
When the monks refused to stop selling flowers, Hugh beat them up and
tore up their flower gardens. The monks were so frightened that
they stop selling their flowers.
The moral: only Hugh can prevent florist friar

The new school librarian decided that instead of checking out
children's books by writing the names of borrowers on the book cards
herself, she would have the youngsters sign their own names. She
would then tell them they were signing a "Contract" for returning the books on time.
Her first customer was a second grader, who looked surprised to see a
new librarian. He brought four books to the desk and shoved them across
to the librarian, giving her his name as he did so.
The librarian pushed the books back and told him to sign them out.
The boy laboriously printed his name on each book card and then handed
them to her with a look of utter disgust.
Before the librarian could even start her speech he said, scornfully,
"That other Librarian we had could write."
