Watch This Tonight

Hello Wonderful.

As we head into the final stretch of the year we think about the people we love, the people we lost, and everything we're grateful for. Gratitude, like 'authenticity', has turned into a buzzword, a meme, and even a marketing strategy. It's a fleeting state that gets pushed aside by impatience, entitlement, bad news, and pain. There's always more we want to do, improve, strive for but what it all boils down to is this: Be Here Now (as Ram Dass sagely said) and we would add, 'and be grateful that you can be.'

We wish you the happiest of holidays. Thank you for supporting THE WHAT.

THE WHAT LIST

100% Editorial picks. No pay for play. Ever.

The Classic.

Auntie Mame with Rosalind Russell is a classic film that holds up after six decades. There are awkward racist scenes (a la Breakfast at Tiffany's) that were typical of that era but Mame's flawed lovable character, her fashion sense, the safe space she creates for society's outliers, her positive attitude, and resilience to survive the Great Depression is inspiring. H/T to HH for reminding us of this gem.

The Cast.

Highway To Well or HTW is another favorite podcast of ours, created by the two friends who founded Blueprint Cleanse (and created a billion-dollar category). Now they're back to talk with some of the most notable, intriguing and controversial guests from the world of wellness, drawing out the personal stories behind the brands, fads and faces of this rapidly evolving industry.

The Comfort.

Flowers are always thoughtful but sometimes when you're sick or blue, or both, there's nothing more comforting than a bowl of hot soup. We discovered Spoonful of Comfort last year when a friend sent us a care package and now it's our go-to gift for loved ones who need a little extra TLC. Get well soon AG!

The Compendium.

That What is known for its Best Fiction Lists but we have recently polled our friends and readers for their Non-Fiction picks. The What Best Non-Fiction 2018 features a great collection of books with something for every reader on your list.

The Conundrum.

WELLNESS IS A GIFT

We've been raving about WelleCo for months now. Amy tracked them down as a partner after being turned on to their SUPER ELIXIR Greens by a girlfriend who had transformed herself after a 30-day WelleCo challenge. Amy's now five months in and has been on a mission to turn to everyone onto this magical green powder that has replaced her caffeine addiction, eradicated bloating, and delivered an even, glowing complexion.

Give the gift of feeling better, looking better, and thinking more clearly to yourself and loved ones with WelleCo's SUPER ELIXIR Greens. If you want a chance to score your own elixir before the New Year, check out their 12 Days of WelleCo Giveaways here.

Love, Amy + Gina
