Relaxing the over-controller

Artwork by Jasper Shaw.

Hi Friends-

I'm just easing back into the flow of things after a lengthy period offline. But I do have a few updates to share:

1. Hurry Slowly will be continuing onwards and upwards for a third season in the Fall. I'm switching up the rhythm of the show and expanding its purview, so that I can take a deep dive into topics like transformation, self-image, and ethics. More details to come soon!

2. Spending 19 days alone is intense. I've spoken before about how transformation is hard, but I got a deeper cut of uncomfortable on my recent DIY retreat. I'll be unpacking more in future, but for the moment this Jung quote comes to mind: "One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable and therefore not popular." ðŸ˜‚

3. My online course RESET, a cosmic tune-up for your workday, will re-open for registration on September 10th. Over 500 folks have taken the course now, and it really does seem to be helping people work with more calm, clarity, and confidence. If you'd like to get details, click here and I'll pop you on the mailing list. : )
