It does seem to be somewhat dreary in February doesn't it?
I mean, think about it,you can't go to the beach, go camping or
on a picnic or bbqing or any kin of fun stuff. So what to do? Well,
it just so happens you are in luck! That's right, so today is National
Read in the Bathtub Day! Nope, didn't make that up...it's a holiday and
a good excuse to read that novel you've been meaning to get to in the water
closet! OK, not exactly life in the fast lane? Well, now here is something you
may find a bit more interesting. It is also National Bagel Day! So, maybe you
could spend the morning going to your local bagel shop and trying to convince
them to give you a free bagel! Oh and while you are at it, you eat the bagel
with lox! Yup, ok so bagel and lox is a Jewish American tradition. Lox being
a thinly sliced piece of salmon you put on the bagel as you eat it. See, the
stuff ya can learn on this page? Pretty exciting eh? Now if you are lucky
enough to have a Einstein's Bagel shop near you, head on over there, urban
legend says that they serve a free bagel today. Not sure on that one
but I would definitely guess that they won't have any salmon
to serve up with it. So while you go enjoy your bagel,
the rest of us will read all these great jokes!
