HELLO POSTMAN FANS
Well, if you are a postal employee or otherwise employed by
the US federal government, you likely are at home putting
your feet up with a paid day off. Today is a national holiday
recognizing George Washington's birth day and otherwise known
as "presidents" day. Although today is
not really his birthday, it actually was February the 22nd
The "day off" was changed to honor all presidents as "presidents"
day, and moved to Monday when congress passed a
law. All the national holidays like memorial day, labor
day and etc, including presidents day, now are celebrated
on a Monday so we could all have a long weekend. Now, if you
do not find that interesting, it is also National Cow Milked in
an Airplane Day. Yep, believe it or not, it is an actual
holiday here in the states, google it! Says that a Guernsey
cow named Elm farm Nellie was flown in an airplane on this
day in 1935 or so. She was milked three times on this day in the air.
yep, I'm not kidding folks, look it up on google. The stuff you
can learn from this page, right? Any ways, if you want a better reason
to celebrate today, there ya go!
When you go to the bar tonight you can say "Yeah hey lets have
a beer to celebrate Cow milked in the...." Well never mind that.
They may think you are already too drunk and refuse to serve you:)
