Hello Wonderful.
We are preparing to announce the complete lineup for The What Summit. It's been profound the generosity, guidance, and love we've received from brilliant, powerful (even famous) women who are showing up in solidarity of our all-woman event dedicated to activating the whole womanmentally, physically, psychologically, professionally, spirituallyand connecting with other like-minded women. The power of friendship, and of women in general, never ceases to amaze. To our stellar group of advisors, friends, and every person who is rallying to help us launch our inaugural event (you know who you are) ... our gratitude overfloweth.

The What List

by Gina Pell + Amy Parker

100% Editorial picks. No pay for play. Ever.

The Work.  If working from home, or your local coffee shop, is starting to get old check out the benefits of Coworking spaces around the world on Outsite, where you can find similarly beautiful places like Canopy, where we work in San Francisco, or The Hivery in Marin.

The Book.  The What's resident bookworm is on a tear preparing our Best Fiction List for September. Her favorite book this week? The international best-selling Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata. Fresh, a little surreal, and meditative in its monotony, this 178-page novel tells the tale of the life of a store clerk who finds meaning and success in a job and life that nobody else finds acceptable. It's a thought-provoking, weirdly funny, and original book that challenges our sheep-like tendencies to embrace societal norms and expectations.

The Trip.  No travel required. If you don't have the time or budget to saunter around the South of France this summer, here's an idea: traipse down to TJs and pick up a bottle of rosΓ©, baguette, and wheel of brie. Then call your favorite friends and Netflix any of these French flicks. Et voila! Instant vacation sans jetlag.

The Perennial.  Do you find yourself not learning, doing, or planning long term because you think you're too old to start something new? Well, meet Deborah Szekely the absolutely fascinating 91-year old innovator who has just started her "project for the next decade." She's our Perennial hero who inspires us to stop the excuses and start dreaming again.

The Fad.  What you should know if you are planning on using that activated charcoal product. Spoiler alert: Don't do it.
