So, the day is frigid here in not so beautiful West Michigan.
Yesterday the temps reached a mind numbing 20 below with the
wind chill factor. It has warmed up today, a little bit maybe.
Just a few degrees. But the storm clouds have brought
freezing rain and snow. But if you are a brave soul and
venture out today,keep in mind it is "National Pie Day."
(As declared by the National Pie Assoc.)
There are a couple places you can get a free slice of pie.
Here in the north country we can get one at
Grand Traverse Pie, and also Village Inn Restaurant. Those
are a couple places. You may want to google your own zip
code and perhaps you may get lucky and score a free piece!
(Pie I mean, PIE!!!! git yer mind outta da gutter! )
