So. the outpatient surgery for the war department went a little

more quickly than expected today, and daughter came and picked us up

a little after noon. A quick stop at the pharmacy for pain pills,

then a quick stop at Walmart bring some lunch home from the deli. 

With a couple of knock out pills and a full tummy, she is

now sleeping soundlessly on the couch and Turk the dog aka Carlos

the rat is curled up beside her. Looks like things are good...
