GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS

I got Turk up and took him out to do morning business
yesterday around 930am. I was a little sleepy so it took
me a bit to focus on what was happening with the "hooligans
who live next door." You know, the neighbors I refer to as
"transplanted trailer trash?" Anyways, one of em was sitting
on their back steps and altho it was a little early, with a can
of Budweiser and a very menacing looking gun. It sorta resembled
a sub machine gun. The fellow said "Hello," affably
enough, "I'm just doing a little squirrel huntin today.
Wanna beer?" Well, I do not feel like being neighborly with a
fellow drinkin beer and firing a nasty looking gun. TurK and me
beat it inside and I made a phone call. The boys in blue wasted
no time showing up in force to "talk" to the dood. Turns out it
was just a pellet gun replica. The toy makers are supposed to put
orange plastic on the tip so its identified as fake, but of course
it had been removed, and the ruffian was quickly taken into custody.
Something about parole violations. A search of the premises ensued,
and a couple more "trailer park rats" were removed,  I think for outstanding
warrants, narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Felt a little
bit like Cops on tv !! Oh well, at least with 3 of em in jail, it
should be a tad bit quieter for the holiday weekend.
This gives credence to the idea that God still smiles on the
little guy who tries to do the right thing.
