GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS!
It reached a rather sultry 90 degrees here in beautiful
West Michigan yesterday. That may feel like winter if you
live in Texas or Florida, but for us folks up here, that is a
veritable heat wave. Fortunately, the humidity was not
that bad, and it did not feel so difficult to handle with
my breathing issues. The really hot days make it rough on my
emphasyma. I have a little 8 thousand btu window air conditioner
for my office. and with just a 10 by 11 room, that is about
big enough to do the trick along with a ceiling fan.
But when the temps start hitting higher than 95 and up,
it gets a little sticky and uncomfortable. Fortunately,
there are usually only a handful of days like that on the
average summer here. Winer is officially over here in
Michigan ...we only have 2 seasons here. One of them is
winter. The other 3 weeks is road construction and we
really do not have a summer. I do know that the road
construction season is on as a trip accross town is
pretty much like dodging bomb crater holes in Iraq.
I am kindof rambling with mostly useless information here,
I realize. However, the POSTMAN'S CORNER has never been
known to have anything intelligent to offer. So, if you
would like to disengage your brain from the real world
for a while, lets have some jokes!
