GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS!
Its been raining "buckets" here in beautiful
West Michigan for the last couple of days. And
the scary thing is the magna lightning and thunder
accompanying it. However, the noise is non meaningful to
Turk the dog, aka Carlos the rat. Unlike most dogs, he
seems unafraid of loud noises and thunderstorms. The only
real objection he has to them is when it is time to "take
care of business." He needs a little coaxing to get out there
and get the job done. He is a strange dog, in general he
seems largely uninterested in "outside", and mostly ignores
the opportunity to bolt when an open door is available.
Perhaps this may be due to the fact that the cats in the
neighborhood are bigger than he is. So from that stand point,
I suppose its kindof a scary thing out there. Altho he does
enjoy the daily walk, otherwise he seems uninterested.
I do think that most of us need to take a lesson from him.
The best thing to do on a day when the weather pours from
the sky is to cover up under the blanket in the recliner,
and take a good snooze, for which I plan to join
him soon after mailing this. I
definitely recommend it to you, snoozing under the covers
is good therapy during a rain storm:)
