GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS!
I was sitting here the other night doing the postman page
like I always do when I got an auto update notice from
adobe flash player. Granted, it is a third party program,
but you would think you would be able to trust it. It was
nagging me for an important immediate update: critical, the
message said. Well, I have updates from them set up to check
myself so I thot this was strange, but what the he...right? so
I let it do its thing. It offered  4 extra offers of such and such,
to which I promtply declined. After I installed and rebooted, I
found it had installed some god awful tool bar I'd never heard of,
changed my search engine and my home page, and part of their stupid
engine was in Arabic. Obviously, the postman got duped for a
hoax or some kind of malware. But, a little tweaking, and it was gone
again. I'm still not sure whether it was actually from Flash player or
whether it was a really good imitator. Be careful out there, don't let
the scammers and the thieves get to you. Serf safe!
