The Obama administration announced plans yesterday
to begin a fundraising project to build a new
White House. In president Obama's speech today,
he suggested three major avenues for the massive
project: the first would be an appropriation bill
approved by Congress to use funds ear marked for
Social Security, the second would be through private
donations, and the third financing source would come
from the sale of government bonds.
The president said later, "That old dump was cold
and drafty anyway. Its time to build a new one."
