GOOD MORNING POSTMAN FANS!
Temps here in beautiful West Michigan for the last
couple days have been absolutely remarkable for the
week of the fourth. Sunday night our church had its
annual block party, and it was in the low 70s with a
slight breeze. The man upstairs was kind. and it was
a good time for all. While you folks in the South West
are sweltering in 100 plus heat waves. Yesterday, it was
actually cold as it was only 60 during the day, and
during the night, it dropped below 50 degrees. BRRRR!!!!

The other day, my wife came home with a package of creme
puffs. Filled with whipped cream, they are heavenly. Nothing
better, IMO.  But, as a diabetic, I have not had such things in
years. So the other morning, I'm sitting at the table,
getting ready to take a great big bite.
"You know that's not good for your diabetes."
Sigh. You know, wimmin have a way of destroying even the
smallest of life's simplest pleasures? PLZ note,
I didn't ask for them, didn't tell her to get them, it was
simply something she brought me of her own accord.
"Well, if it was so bad for me, and I ain't supposed to have em,
then why the H... did you get them for me in the first place????"
"I'm not sure, probably so I'd have something to needle you
about." And with that, she was out the door for work.
Darn wimmin:( at least she is honest.
